Camili Mosque is a historic wooden mosque in the village of Camili, in the Borçka district of Artvin Province. Because the village was formerly called Hertvisi, the building is also known as the Hertvisi Mosque; it became known as Camili Mosque after the village was renamed. It stands in the historical Maçahel region and is one of eight wooden mosques identified on the Turkish side of the Maçahel valley. In its design, style, colourful interior and distinctive motifs, it shares features with other wooden mosques of the Artvin area as well as with mosques in Georgia's Adjara region.
