Kabuli Bagh Mosque stands in Panipat, in the Indian state of Haryana, on the Panipat–Shamli Road. It was built in 1527 by the Mughal emperor Babur, and the mosque together with its enclosure wall is protected as a Monument of National Importance. A German-language source describes it as the earliest surviving evidence of Mughal architecture in India. It is sometimes also called Babri Masjid, meaning "Babur's mosque". The building takes its name from Kabuli Begum, a wife of Babur.
