Molla Hüsrev Mosque stands on Şerefiye Sokağı in the Küçükmustafapaşa quarter of Istanbul's Fatih district. It was commissioned by Molla Hüsrev, who served as shaykh al-Islam under Mehmed II, and is one of three mosques he had built in the city. The building has two storeys, and the lower level houses shops used for commercial purposes. Because it was rebuilt in the 19th century, it does not preserve its original architectural features. The mosque is listed as a cultural asset requiring protection.

According to its foundation deed (vakfiye), the mosque was built in 1465. At some point the structure collapsed, and it was rebuilt in the 19th century. As a result, the present building does not reflect the architecture of its original phase.
