Barbaros Hayrettin Pasha Mosque is a mosque complex in the Levent neighbourhood of Beşiktaş, Istanbul. It is named after the Ottoman admiral Barbaros Hayreddin Pasha. Its design draws inspiration from the Süleymaniye Mosque by the architect Sinan, and maritime and shipping motifs honour Barbarossa and his irregular sailors, the Levends, from whom the area takes its name. The complex includes an underground car park for about 1,000 vehicles, a workshop, a library, a multipurpose hall and a dining hall. The mosque can accommodate up to 20,000 worshippers.
