The Hamu al-Qadu Mosque stands in the city of Mosul, in Iraq's Nineveh Governorate. It lies in the Maidan quarter, close to the inner citadel and the Maidan market. It was completed in the Ottoman period, in 1298 AH (1880/1881 CE). In its basement is the tomb of Shaykh Ala al-Din, remembered as a pious man. The mosque has a single door, opening onto the Zanganah alley that leads to the Maidan market, with a Quranic verse about the Friday prayer inscribed above it. The complex once also housed a madrasa.

The mosque was built by Hajji Abdullah, known as Hamu al-Qadu. He raised the mosque and madrasa on the foundations of the existing shrine building of Shaykh Ala al-Din and set aside endowments to meet its needs. The work was completed in 1298 AH (1880/1881 CE). The madrasa taught the rational and transmitted sciences and was located above the arch at the mosque's entrance.

The shaykh's tomb in the basement was visited by local people every Thursday and Friday. It was destroyed in March 2014 by ISIL. The mosque was reconstructed in 2022.
