The Ibn Rushd-Goethe Mosque is a liberal, interdenominational place of Islamic prayer in the Moabit district of Berlin's Mitte borough, in the Stephankiez area along Alt-Moabit. It follows a progressive understanding of Islam: women and men are regarded as equal and pray together, and the same applies to LGBTQI Muslims. The mosque has no building of its own and uses a room in the annex buildings of the Protestant St. John's church. Its name refers to Ibn Rushd and Goethe.

The mosque opened on 16 June 2017. Its establishment is credited largely to the lawyer and women's rights activist Seyran Ateş. The physician and writer Mimoun Azizi, the human rights activist Saida Keller-Messahli, the political scientist Elham Manea and the Islamic scholar Abdel-Hakim Ourghi also contributed to its founding.

The Ibn Rushd-Goethe Mosque (German: Ibn-Rushd-Goethe-Moschee; Arabic: مسجد ابن رشد - جوته) is a mosque in the Mitte district of Berlin, Germany. It is the only self-described liberal mosque in the country and the first in the world. Founded in June 2017 by Seyran Ateş, a German lawyer and Muslim feminist of Turkish and Kurdish descent, the mosque was named in honour of medieval Andalusian-Arabic polymath Ibn Rushd and German writer and statesman Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. The liberal mosque bans face-covering, allows women and men to pray together, and accepts LGBT worshippers.
