The Shrine of Baba Farid is a Sufi dargah in Pakpattan, in Pakistan's Punjab province, dating to the 13th century. It is dedicated to Baba Farid, a Punjabi mystic and poet. It is regarded as one of the most important shrines in Pakistan and was among the earliest Islamic holy sites in South Asia, giving the region's Muslims a local centre of devotion. Sikhs also revere the site, as Baba Farid's verses are included in the Guru Granth Sahib, which they regard as their eternal Guru.
